The Majik LP12 is the first step into Linn’s Sondek LP12 ecosystem — the gateway to high-fidelity vinyl playback, and the same fundamental Sondek LP12 platform that has been in continuous production since 1972. In pre-configured Majik specification, it ships with the Karousel bearing (Linn’s current-generation bearing engineering), the Krane tonearm, and a choice of Adikt (moving-magnet) or Koil (moving-coil) cartridge — a complete high-fidelity vinyl playback system at the tier where Linn’s LP12 program begins.

What makes the Majik LP12 fundamentally different from other entry-tier turntables is that it is fully upgradeable on the Sondek platform.
