HRS R3X Isolation Base

R3X is the latest derivative of the S3 architecture at a more accessible price point. Five different materials working together: a CNC-machined non-resonant core with strategically placed internal pockets containing decoupled high-mass damping systems for energy dissipation, custom-pressed HRS resin fabric composite top and bottom plates, and a billet-machined heat-treated aluminum alloy stiffening trim.

Under the hood, R3X shares 60% of the plinth construction technology with the higher-tier S3 and uses the same noise reduction footer technology found on the reference-level M3X2. The top surface has the same scratch-resistant coating as the S3 and E1X for cosmetic match. Compared to the previous R1 Isolation Base, R3X's custom HRS non-resonant plate material increased mass density by 28%. Low-profile 3-inch height.

Chief Engineer Michael Latvis: "The R3X Isolation Base is the latest version of a design derived from our S3 Isolation Base. It uses the same noise reduction footer technology found on our reference level M3X2 Isolation Base and shares 60% of the plinth construction with our high performance S3 Isolation Base. The R3X top and bottom plate is made from a custom HRS non-resonant plate material that increased the mass density of the R3X by 28% over the previous R1 Isolation Base design."
