Description
DPII is the slimmer of the two HRS damping plates at 0.7 inches thick, in the same three footprints as the DPX. It performs the same job — damping the chassis panels of a component so they contribute less of their own resonance to what you hear — in a profile that suits shelves with limited clearance, or components where the heavier DPX would look out of proportion.
Three lengths, all 4.5 inches wide: 5.5, 9.5 and 14.5 inches. HRS positions the damping plates alongside the Nimbus, Helix and Vortex systems as the chassis-side complement to an isolation base, and states plainly that the bases perform best when used in conjunction with them. Which plate, which size, and where it sits on the chassis are component-specific decisions. Available in black or silver.
