The MHA150 is the solid-state headphone amplifier McIntosh built around a full DAC and a pair of 50-watt speaker outputs, so it serves as a complete compact system as well as a headphone amplifier. Its Autoformer-coupled headphone output offers three impedance ranges, the USB input handles up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD256, and it carries McIntosh's HXD crossfeed and Power Guard.
