The MC830 is McIntosh's direct-coupled solid-state monoblock: 300 watts into 8 ohms and 480 watts into 4, with balanced and unbalanced inputs, a dual-scale watt meter, Power Guard and Sentry Monitor protection, in the open-chassis styling that matches the C8 preamplifier. McIntosh has recently retired it. This pair has been on demonstration at LMC since 2022.
