Listing Details
Description
The C8 is McIntosh's entry into vacuum-tube preamplification: four 12AX7a tubes, one balanced and two unbalanced line inputs plus moving-coil and moving-magnet phono, bass and treble controls, a High Drive headphone output and a configurable subwoofer output, in the open-chassis styling shared with the MC830. McIntosh has recently retired it. This unit was the demonstration piece in our Tempe showroom, is five years old with roughly 200 hours or fewer of use, and comes with its original box, remote and manual.
