The MVP881 BR features custom fabricated steel and aluminum casework with unique, compartmentalized sub structures that inhibit resonance while shielding sensitive audio circuits. Also noteworthy is an all-metal disc mechanism; set in a heavy, damped base, this disc mechanism is quiet running, highly accurate and features a cast-aluminum disc tray.
MEN220 Room Correction: The new MEN220 Room Correction System by McIntosh delivers a potent suite of Room Correction, Custom-EQ and 2-Way Crossover capabilities in one easy-to-use stereo component. While any single feature of the MEN220 has the power to optimize the sonic characteristics of the highest quality audio systems, combining the features can reveal a level clarity and resolution unattainable by any other means. Styled in the rich tradition of McIntosh audio components the MEN220 features our trademark Fiber-Optic Illuminated Black Glass Front panel and aluminum casework. Front panel buttons and control knobs bring a familiar, easy-to-use analog interface to this digital product just as a 2-line vacuum fluorescent display reports status and aids in set-up of the MEN220. Full system control and PC link are provided via RS232 while McIntosh Data, Power Control and IR inputs offer additional remote control flexibility. Both single-ended and balanced connections are supported; a hand-held, IR remote control is included.
MCD500 SACD/CD Player: The new McIntosh MCD500 SACD/CD Player with Digital Inputs combines exceptional sound quality and flexibility with a unique parallel DAC topology. Four 24-Bit, 192 KHz PCM/DSD digital to analog converters per channel are arranged in a differential balanced configuration enabling a more faithful reproduction of the analog waveform resulting in outstanding fidelity with very low noise and distortion. The superior low-level linearity achieved by this design reveals extraordinary detail for the kind of transparency normally experienced only during live musical events.
C2300 Vaccum Tube Preamplifier: The C2300 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier combines a suite of potent engineering enhancements with smart, user-programmable features to deliver a truly extraordinary audio preamplifier. Each input may have the bass, treble, and mono/stereo mode adjusted and stored in memory. When individual inputs are selected, these settings will engage as preset by the listener. All adjustments may be made either from the frontpanel or remote control.

Two 12AX7a Vacuum Tubes are used for each of three sections: the Moving Magnet phono section, the Moving Coil section, and the high-level preamp section. Its phono sections are fully adjustable "on the fly", so the listener may change impedance or loading settings as the record plays. A high performance headphone amplifier with a 1/4" headphone jack is included.
MC2301 Vaccum Tube Monoblock Amplifier: The new McIntosh MC2301 monoblock tube amplifier hails the fusion of our Unity Coupled and Quad-Differential circuit topologies. The Mcintosh Unity Coupled Circuit stands as one of the premiere tube topologies ever conceived, making possible revolutionary power bandwidth and low distortion. Quad-Differential circuitry, a recent McIntosh innovation, cancels nearly all induced noise and circuit-borne nonlinearities resulting in the lowest noise levels ever achieved in a tube amplifier. With 300 Watts available at 8, 4 or 2 ohms, the MC2301 provides power enough to drive even the most difficult loudspeakers. From the demands of massed chorale to full-on rock and roll, the MC2301 delivers the most extraordinarily lifelike and dynamic performance ever heard from a McIntosh tube amplifier
