The XCS1K is a full range loudspeaker, producing a true-to-life image that is the perfect complement to fine loudspeakers such as the McIntosh XRT1K. Not limited for use as a center channel, the XCS1K also excels as a left, right, or surround loudspeaker. This Loudspeaker is capable of producing extremely high sound pressure levels, even when connected to amplifier of moderate power output.
Designed to match the XRT2K Tower Loudspeakers perfectly, the XCS2K can handle a full 2000 watts of amplifier power. Meticulous crossover design, coupled with McIntosh’s exclusive Arc Array for mid and high frequencies, allows the XCS2K to deliver wide, smooth sound coverage throughout your home theater systems. The inclusion of three sets of input terminals invites bi-and tri-amping or wiring if desired. A tilting floor stand is included. XCS2K speakers may also be used in triplicate across the front three channels below a screen.
XR100 floor standing loudspeaker is sleek and contemporary in appearance while producing full range audio reproduction typical of much larger cabinet designs. Fine gloss wood finishes are offered in Black, Pear Maple, and Red Walnut . The magnetically attached grill is acoustically transparent and covered with neutral black cloth. Unique front panel McIntosh logo may be illuminated when configured with a McIntosh system. Spikes and furniture glide feet are included. Amplifiers from 75 to 600 watts are appropriate power for XR100 speakers.
XR50 is a cleverly engineered compact bookshelf speaker that produces the rich, full sound one would expect from much larger speakers. Fine gloss wood finishes are offered in Black and Red Walnut. The magnetically attached grill is acoustically transparent and covered with a neutral black cloth. Unique front panel McIntosh logo may be illuminated when used with McIntosh components.
With dual 10” woofers, XRT1K has a more powerful and dynamic bass response than was achievable in prior models. The high-gloss, piano black extruded aluminum enclosure is extra deep to allow top-porting. A new woofer casting permits the XRT1K to have an unusually narrow profile for a loudspeaker with 1,200 watts of power handling and its 8 ohm impedance is easy on amplifiers.
McIntosh engineers made the dream come true with a three way dual column design meticulously housing forty tweeters, sixty-four midrange and six woofers. In XRT2K, all elements are chosen for use with high power amplifiers up to 2,000 watts. The XRT2K is a full range line array system with mirror-image symmetry. Listeners sitting close to the home theater systems will not hear ‘hot spots’ of certain frequencies and listeners at a great distance notice little drop off in sound. The sound dispersion pattern is smooth and wide, resulting in exceptional stereo image in a greater variety of listening positions. XRT2K comes with sealed aluminum cabinet allows the system to be located close to a rear wall without bass “boom.”
