McIntosh MX124 A/V Processor: Full Next-Gen HDMI

The McIntosh MX124 A/V Processor is built around a full 7-in, 3-out HDMI architecture, with 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz supported on every single input. HDCP 2.3, eARC, VRR, ALLM, and QFT are supported across the board, so no input is treated as secondary.

Immersive Audio for Every Format

With 13.4 channels of processing, the MX124 decodes Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Sony 360 Reality Audio, and MPEG-H Audio. On the video side, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG cover every current high-dynamic-range standard.

Dirac Live Room Correction, Included

Every McIntosh MX124 A/V Processor ships with Dirac Live Room Correction with Bass Control and Audyssey MultEQ XT32 fully licensed, with no add-on fees required. Dirac Live analyzes the listening room and corrects acoustics automatically, delivering tight, balanced bass at every seat and supporting up to four independent subwoofers.

The MX124 is Roon Ready and supports bit-perfect playback up to 32-bit/192kHz. Native Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect and Max, Spotify Connect and Lossless, Apple AirPlay, and Bluetooth are all built in, making the McIntosh MX124 A/V Processor as capable a music hub as it is a cinema processor.

Built for Custom Installation

The McIntosh MX124 A/V Processor is Control4 certified at launch, with Crestron, Savant, Josh, and AVA drivers in process. Web-based setup reduces on-site configuration time, and the rack-friendly chassis fits any properly sized rack shelf for a clean, professional install.
