At the heart of the MEN220 is RoomPerfect^™, one of the most advanced systems for adapting a sound system to the unique acoustic environment of your room. RoomPerfect intelligently analyzes the audio characteristics of your speakers and the specific acoustic traits of your space, then adjusts the audio signal for a sound profile precisely tailored to the room’s size, shape, and acoustic qualities.

This technology allows for flexible speaker placement without compromising sound quality. Position your speakers against a wall, in open space, or asymmetrically from the listening position, and RoomPerfect will adjust the audio to deliver optimal sound performance.

The MEN220 supports precise measurement and correction for up to eight distinct listening positions and provides a Global Room Correction mode for listening from any point in the room. It includes six preset EQ curves tailored for different music genres and allows for the creation of up to six additional custom EQ profiles.

ENHANCED FUNCTIONALITY

The MEN220’s adjustable crossover simplifies bi-amping your speakers, featuring two pairs of balanced and unbalanced outputs to connect to your power amplifier(s). Additionally, it offers both balanced and unbalanced inputs for seamless integration with your preamplifier via balanced cables or unbalanced cables.

Operation is straightforward, with control options available through the front panel, the included remote control, or a web interface. Power Control ports enable synchronized on/off functionality with other McIntosh components via Power Control cables.

The MEN220 showcases McIntosh’s signature design, with a black glass front panel, rotary knobs, push buttons, and an illuminated logo.
