Lumina V incorporates multilayer wood on the front baffle and wood veneer, available in multiple finishes. The sides and top of the speaker cabinet are hand-covered in black leather.
The distinctive design solution of the Lumina V is the internal mid-high volume with the Sonus faber signature’s design shape: the lute. This feature maximizes structural rigidity and the acoustic performance of the midrange while simultaneously reducing standing waves within the acoustic load volume.
The diaphragm of the two 6.5’’ woofers developed for Lumina V encompasses the sandwich construction technique: two external layers of cellulose pulp and other natural fibers are combined with a layer of high-tech syntactic foam in between, guaranteeing a natural reproduction of low frequencies.
Lumina V has two pairs of nickel-plated terminals, allowing for an upgraded experience through bi-wiring and bi-amping.
